Have you ever received Medisoft 6610 or 6633 Errors? When you get either of these errors, Medisoft will lock up, you won’t be able to click off the error screen, and you will need to restart the program or restart your computer. Both errors are the same and are also solved in the same way.
The Medisoft 6610 error occurs on a workstation when it is unable to communicate with the Advantage Database Server.
The Medisoft 6633 error occurs on the server when the server is unable to communicate with the client and the client is on the server.

If you have been experiencing rejections from Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) regarding your submissions over individual NPI numbers, instead of group NPI numbers, this video will be helpful for you. With the recent requirement changes through BCBS, this video will give you a better understanding how how the NPI number is pulled to certain boxes within your Medisoft.

When attempting to open Medisoft or while in the program you may encounter an error, Medisoft error 5016.
Error 5016 typically indicates an issue with the data, like a corrupt table index. This error can occur in many different places within Medisoft.
There is a simple fix to this that could correct the error. If the fix we’ll describe here doesn’t resolve the error. There could be additional data related corruption or more serious issues going on. If this fix doesn’t resolve the error, then we recommend you contact AZCOMP Technologies so we can do more troubleshooting and more advanced repairs.
If you receive the error above when using Medisoft, follow these steps:
After you’ve run file maintenance, log back into Medisoft and the error should no longer appear.

The following is a list of Telehealth related Modifiers that may be applied to a claim:

Providers are to apply modifier CS on applicable claim lines to identify COVID-19 testing-related services that are not subject to cost sharing under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. Covered services include medical visits that that result in an order for or administration of a COVID-19 test; are related to furnishing or administering such a test or to the evaluation of an individual for purposes of determining the need for such a test. The effective date for modifier CS is for services performed between March 18, 2020 through the end of the Public Health Emergency.
For professional claims, physicians and practitioners who did not initially submit claims with the CS modifier must notify their Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) and request to resubmit applicable claims with dates of service on or after 3/18/2020 with the CS modifier to get 100% payment.
For institutional claims, providers, including hospitals, CAHs, RHCs, and FQHCs, who did not initially submit claims with the CS modifier must resubmit applicable claims submitted on or after 3/18/2020, with the CS modifier to visit lines to get 100% payment.
