Do You Need To Run The “Clear ICD-10 Utility”?

What To Do When ICD-9 Codes Show Up In the ICD-10 Column of the Diagnosis Code List in Medisoft

Sometimes Medisoft users experience that somehow all or many of their ICD-9 codes are showing up in the spot where their ICD-10 codes are supposed to be in the diagnosis code list. This means that when they go to start adding ICD-10 codes, there is already an ICD-9 code in that spot.

This is a problem, and before you start adding all of the new ICD-10 codes, you need to clear out all of the ICD-9 codes that are mistakenly in the ICD-10 column. There is a utility that will clear all of the ICD-9 codes from the ICD-10 location. Running this utility is easy and will save you a lot of time and frustration during the process of adding new ICD-10 codes.

In this video, we show you how to run that utility to fix the problem. Prior to running this utility, please be sure to backup all of your Medisoft data.
