McKesson Practice Choice EMR- Cloud Solution

New Electronic Medical Record- Coming Fall 2012

McKesson Practice Choice EHR is a web-based solution of an integrated electronic medical record and practice management software. Physicians can access the software anywhere there is an internet connection. This new EMR is built for independent small physician practices.

Will this new cloud solution replace your other EHR Products?

No. We are not replacing Practice Partner, Medisoft Clinical, or Lytec MD.

How is a cloud solution different than an ASP product like Practice Partner?

A cloud solution is accessed via an internet web browser. This is also referred to as SaaS, hosted, or web-based solution. ASP solutions like Practice Partner are installed in house on servers and clients access the sytem via a virtual private network (VPN).

Will Practice Choice EMR be ARRA Certified?

Yes. This new software has already received complete EHR certification from the Drummond Group for 2011/2012 Stage 1 Meaningful Use Standards.
